I was born in Shandong Province, China and grew up during the traumatic Cultural Revolution. Now I live in Vancouver, British Columbia. I spent almost eight years compiling my mother Dr. Li Qunying’s memoir The Doctor Who Was Followed By Ghosts: The Family Saga of a Chinese Woman Doctor. I’m working towards bringing her story to the big screen.
